Kayla's Bio

A native of New Jersey, Kayla attended Seton Hall University where she joined their radio station, WSOU, and it was there that she fell in love with the music and...radio!
After graduating, Kayla nailed a job with Metro Traffic as a traffic reporter under the name Kate Andrews. She has been on many stations like WABC Radio, The Breeze, ESPN Radio, K104, WHLI and has even graced the screen on FOX 5 Good Day NY and still fills in on CBS-TV! She also spent some time in 2005 jocking weekends at WBAB on Long Island.

Kayla has been apart of the Sirius family since 2002. She originally started on Sirius Hard Attack on the weekends, but has since moved to Octane! Now the Sirius family has merged with XM and you can hear Kayla on Octane Sirius 20 / XM 48 Mon-Fri noon-6pm ET and weekends 3-9pm ET. You can also hear her now on Boneyard Sirius 19 / XM 52 everyday from 6am-noon ET.

Kayla is also apart of The Message Sirius 66 / XM 32 for The Message Amped. It's a 3 hour special of Christian rock music airing Saturday nights 11pm ET. Its not holy roller, it's just nice to have some positive lyrics in our hard rock music plus, sometimes you get deeper cuts of songs from bands played on Octane. Come rock with Kayla cause she would love for you to join her everyday!!! Stay Heavy!
