Kayla's Bio

A native of New Jersey, Kayla attended Seton Hall University where she joined their radio station, WSOU, and it was there that she fell in love with the music and...radio!
After graduating, Kayla nailed a job with Metro Traffic as a traffic reporter under the name Kate Andrews. She has been on many stations like WABC Radio, The Breeze, ESPN Radio, K104, WHLI and has even graced the screen on FOX 5 Good Day NY and CBS-TV! She also spent some time in 2005 jocking weekends at WBAB on Long Island.

Kayla has now been apart of the Sirius family since 2002. She originally started on Hard Attack on the weekends, but has since moved to Octane holding down the 12-6pm ET shift everyday! You can also hear her on Classic Rewind from 6pm-mid ET everyday of the week. Sunday afternoons is for Octane's Rock 20. Kayla will count down the top 20 songs of the week voted by you! So get in your new music votes into the pipeline 877-33-sirius. You can make the difference!

Kayla has also now added Spirit Rocks to her schedule. It's a 2 hour special of Christian rock music airing Friday nights at midnight ET / 9pm PT. Its not holy roller although it's nice to have some positive lyrics in music at times and sometimes you get deeper cuts of songs from bands played on Octane. Check it out on Sirius 66.
